About Pepero

Pepero didn’t get the easiest start. He was found living on the streets, figuring things out on his own without much kindness from the world. After everything he’s been through, Pepero is still ready to trust, he just needs the right person to give him a chance.

Today, Pepero is learning what it means to be safe and loved. He’s wiggly, chatty, and full of personality. One moment he’ll flop over dramatically for belly rubs, the next, he’ll woo and chatter to tell you all about his day. Pepero may take a little time to warm up, but once he does, he’s a loyal, affectionate friend who forms a strong bond with his person.

• Estimated 5–6 years old Pitbull mix
• Neutered
• Up to date on vaccines
• About 75 pounds
• House and potty trained
• Respectful at home, doesn’t chew or get into things
• Easygoing with food and toys, no resource guarding behaviors

• Ideally located in California
• A calm, patient home where he can feel safe
• Best as an only pet, but has successfully learned to live with a resident dog and cat after slow introductions
• Someone patient and supportive. Pepero can be a bit sensitive in new or exciting environments and does best with a calm person who helps him feel confident and secure
